Cloudray DM556 5.6A Stepper Motor Driver is a professional 4-wire, 6-wire or 8-wire two-phase stepper motor driver Nema 17, Nema 23, Nema 24 or Nema 34 with phase current less than 5.6 A. Drive voltage is from 18VDC to 50VDC.

Signal interface details:

The controller and stepper motor driver can be connected in two ways. At the common cathode connection, a high electrical level is active; all control negative signals are connected to GND. A low electrical level is active at the common anode connection; all positive control signals are connected to positive voltage. See the images below for details:

You can use a 5 – 24 V controller signal, but make sure the appropriate resistor is used:

Motor and power supply interface details:

Motor terminals A+ 4 motor wires must be connected. In most cases, these wires are color coded. The color associated with the winding depends on the motor. See engine documentation for details.
