Description
The L298 stepper motor driver provides affordable and easy control of a two-phase, bipolar stepper motor or two DC motors. It can handle a voltage range of 2 ~ 10 V and a maximum continuous current of 1.5 A. With additional cooling, the maximum current is 2.5 A.
The L298N has two H-bridges that each feed its own coil in the stepper motor in a precise sequence, allowing precise turning of the stepper motor axis in small increments in one direction or the other.
