Description

BIGTREETECH TMC2130 V3.0 stepper motor driver is suitable for two-phase stepper motors.

TMC2130 V3.0 stepper motor driver and its features

  • Modes of operation: STEP/DIR or SPI (the driver is currently configured for STEP/DIR operation; for SPI operation, it is necessary to break the connections with a soldering iron or make new ones on the underside of the driver - detailed instructions can be found in the instructions for use below)
  • Logic voltage: 3.3V/5V
  • Input voltage: 12V/24V DC
  • RMS current: 1.2 A (2.0 A Peak)
  • Max microstepping up to 1/256
  • CoolStep current control function with energy saving up to 75 %
  • The SpreadCycle function ensures that the stepper motor has a smooth transition through the zero current region. As a result, the stepper motor has almost no vibration.
  • The StealthChop function allows the engine to operate extremely quietly. The motor noise is below 10 dB, which is much lower than the motor noise when using a classic driver.
