Introduction
16HS2404L14.5P1-X is a two-phase Nema 16 step motor 9Ncm 0.42A which has a step angle of 1.8° (200 steps/rev). Each phase draws 0.42 A at 8.4 V, which enables a holding torque of 9 Ncm. The motor has four wires: black and green for one coil; red and blue for another.
How to connect Nema 16 stepper motor with a driver?
As the diagram below shows, there are four wires viz. red, green, black and blue. The wires are connected to two different coils. Black and green are connected to one coil and red and yellow to the other. The logical sequence of power supply to the coils allows the motor to rotate.
