Description
Introduction
17CS05-P10 is a two-phase Nema 17 step motor with 0.52Nm of torque (torque without reducer), which has a step angle of 1.8° (200 steps/rev). The reducer provides a 10:1 reduction. Each phase draws 1.8 A at 4.32 V. This motor has four color-coded wires: red and blue represent one coil, and black and green represent the other.
How to connect Nema 17 stepper motor 0.52Nm with a driver?
The diagram below shows four differently colored wires viz. red, green, black and blue. The wires are connected to two different coils. Black and green are connected to one coil and red and blue are connected to another coil. The logical sequence of power supply to the coils allows the motor to rotate.
