Description
Introduction
The 17HS4413AG5.18-X is a two-phase Nema 17 stepper motor 0.38Nm with a reducer that has a step angle of 1.8° (200 steps/rev). The reducer provides a reduction ratio of 5.18:1. A connector is included for easy installation. Each phase draws 1.3A at 3.25V, providing a holding torque of 0.38Nm before the reducer. The motor has four color-coded wires: black and green represent one coil; red and blue represent the other.
How to connect Nema 17 stepper motor 0.38Nm with reducer with a driver?
The diagram below shows four differently colored wires viz. red, green, black and blue. The wires are connected to two different coils. Black and green are connected to one coil and red and blue are connected to another coil. The logical sequence of power supply to the coils allows the motor to rotate.
