Description
Introduction
23HS8430AG15-P is a two-phase Nema 23 step motor with a reducer, which has a step angle of 1.8 ° (200 steps / revolution). Each phase draws 3.0A at 1.65V, allowing a holding torque of 1.4Nm, which increases proportionally when using a 1:15 reducer. The motor has four color-coded wires: yellow and white represent one coil; red and blue represent the other. We use a bipolar stepper motor driver to control the 23HS8430AG15-P stepper motor.
How to connect 23HS8430AG15-P Nema 23 stepper motor with reducer with driver?
Bipolar stepper motors require a special driver circuit called an H bridge. 23HS8430AG15-P is compatible with to the DM542 driver and 36 In switching power supplies.
As shown in the wiring diagram, there are four wires of different colors viz. red, green, yellow and blue. These wires are connected to two different coils. Red and blue are connected to one coil and yellow and white to another. To rotate the motor, the coils are energized in a logical sequence.
