Introduction

SM2862-5255 is a Nema 34 bipolar stepper motor from a Japanese manufacturer Sanyo Denki. It has a step angle of 1.8 °. Each phase draws 6.0 A at 2.16 V, which enables a holding torque of 7.0 Nm. The motor has four color-coded wires: red and green represent one coil; yellow and blue represent the other. We use a bipolar stepper motor driver to control the SM2862-5255 stepper motor.
