However, unlike the TB6600, the TMC2160-OC allows for much quieter operation of stepper motors, with less vibration and less overheating, especially in StealthChop mode, which can be selected with DIP switches.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>TMC2160-OC stepper motor driver and its features<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>A series of TMC drivers with mute function<\/li>\n<li>Enables StealthChop\u2122* and SpreadCycle\u2122* operating modes selectable via DIP switches<\/li>\n<li>Minimum current 2.30 A, maximum current 4.33 A<\/li>\n<li>It produces little heat and has efficient cooling<\/li>\n<li>Simple setting of microsteps via DIP switch, maximum 64 microsteps<\/li>\n<li>Optically isolated signals<\/li>\n<li>It supports 8-40 VDC power supply, we recommend using less than 35 VDC to ensure safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*In general, the SpreadCycle mode of operation provides greater torque and greater positional accuracy than the StealthChop mode.
