Aluminum flexible spiral coupling and its properties
The flexible aluminum spiral clutch is machined from a single piece of aluminum into a helical configuration that does not require elastomeric elements such as rubber bushings, spiders, rubber discs and pads. Spiral clutches compensate for shaft misalignment and operate at high speeds. There is no "backlash".
Variations
Several variations of the aluminum flexible spiral coupling are available. You can choose them based on the following parameters:
- D ("diameter"): outer diameter of the coupling (in mm)
- L (“length”): outer length of the clutch (in mm)
- inner diameter of the axle opening on one side/inner diameter of the axle opening on the other side
Couplings of larger dimensions that can withstand higher loads are available in jaw configuration.
