17HS4417AG26.8‑XJTH Nema 17 stepper motor 1.7A 0.40Nm with 26.8:1 reducer from ACT The motor is powerful hybrid stepper motor NEMA 17 with integrated planetary reducer 26.8:1, designed for applications where high torque and precise positioning at low speeds are required. The basic step of 1.8° provides good resolution before reduction, and the reducer increases the output torque several times and enables smooth, stable movement even under high mechanical loads. The motor is an excellent choice for CNC systems, robotics, linear drives, 3D printers and other precision automated systems.

The engine operates at 1.7 A per phase, with nominal phase voltage 2.55V, making it compatible with most current limiting drivers. The planetary gear greatly increases the output torque and enables performance beyond a standard NEMA 17 motor, ideal for slow and precisely controlled movements.

4-wire bipolar configuration enables broad compatibility with drivers such as DM430, TMC series, DM542, TB6600, and others…. 

How to connect a Nema 17 stepper motor 1.7A 0.40Nm with a 26.8:1 reducer with a driver?

The diagram below shows four differently colored wires viz. red, green, black and blue. The wires are connected to two different coils. Black and green are connected to one coil and red and blue are connected to another coil. The logical sequence of power supply to the coils allows the motor to rotate.
